LM Transport Order Optimizer is a TMS solution for loaders which responds to transport activity optimisation, checking and control aims. By integrating transport constraints and tariff grids into the same application, LM Transport Order Optimizer offers three main functionalities : carrier allocation, pre-billing and simulation.
Carrier allocation
To select the lowest bidding carrier, LM Transport Order Optimizer compares the tariffs and services offered by each carrier, as well as the constraints linked to these services : cash-on-delivery, maximum number of boxes or even the management of dangerous products... Furthermore, as it directly interfaced with the WMS, LM Transport Order Optimizer re-groups boxes which are going to the same customer. Thus LM Transport Order Optimizer guarantees an overall reduction in transport costs automatically optimising dispatch re-grouping, by choosing the lowest bidder and the best means of dispatch in accordance with the imposed features.
Pre-billing
LM Transport Order Optimizer enables you to generate advance transport invoices on request according to the transport and over a specific period. Pre-billing is calculated using real dispatches and enables you to facilitate carrier bundle checking operations and to integrate the management of additional costs and savings made thanks to box re-grouping. The key is to reduce the number of disputes and control transport costs.
Simulation The operational impact of a new tariff grid can be analysed easily thanks to a simulation tool which relies on the transport activity’s archive database. It is thus possible to determine exactly and in real time the cost of a delivery made in the conditions specified by this tariff grid. Controlling the transport function is thus made easier.
Flexible interfacing LM Transport Order Optimizer positions itself in the market an independent software package, which can be directly interfaced with the WMS, the round optimisation software and the ERP.
